Mon. Feb. 12th
Well we survived our first week of school, well Meghan did, but I'm not quite sure about me yet! Meghan stayed home from school on Thursday as her throat was sore and she was very tired and sore, so I'm letting her be the judge of whether she's up to going to school or not, she knows her body better than anyone. The school is quite aware that she may not make it for a full week and they are fine with it.
Today we were back down to the hospital for blood work and check up. Her counts were up, her weight was up and it was the busiest day we've ever seen. Oh and some little kid was walking around the waiting room coughing with her mouth wide open and not even covering her mouth and mommy didn't say a thing, but I was tempted, but I behaved myself. When the doctor came in to see Meghan they saw a rash that appeared on Saturday and they wanted to do a swab so the infection doctor was in a meeting so he couldn't come to see us until 1:30 and it wasn't even noon yet, so we went to lunch and walked around to waste time. They thought it might be shingles but we won't get the results until tomorrow or possibly Wednesday, they will call with the results and our next appt. date. Oh and we're back on antiobiotics for the rash but hopefully this one won't make her vomit. I actually hate the fact that she's on antiobiotics or anything more than what she's already on.
Well back to school tomorrow for her, she's not minding it but finding it very tiring, she has been asked if she sees her friends and her comment is she isn't even allowed to talk to them because Josh is rushing her to keeping moving to where ever it is she's going to. Usually when she comes home from school she has a bath to relax and than is wiped but unfortunately it doesn't help her sleep through the night.
I'll keep you up to date on the "shingles" thing.
Michelle
PS Thanks again to all the blog messages, emails and prayers, we appreciate each and every one of them.

WE also hope it isn't shingles. Greetings from Cayman Islands (Berta, Elaine and Issy). We are checking on Meghan and hope you are doing well. You are still in our prayers no matter where we are.
