Sorry for the delay in the update. Everything went well last Wednesday with her scans. The PET scan is new to us and it was quite interesting how the test was done. They inject her with radioactive sugar water and we were put in a small room, with a recliner and she's wrapped in warm blankets from head to toe and she has to lie completely still for 45 minutes, with minimal talking. She was able to watch a movie so she wasn't bored out of her tree. When the 45 minutes is up she has to pee as much out as she can and than we procede to the room where they preform the CT and PET scan together. We head down Monday for the results. Keep your fingers crossed!
