SHE'S DONE CHEMO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Meghan had her last round of chemo today, can you tell I'm ALITTLE excited? We go back on Monday, Nov. 5th for blood work and will have the tests in about 3 to 4 weeks. We have to follow up once a month for a year and than we go to once every other month for the 2nd year and than yearly after that I think.

Other than that, I don't know what to say except thank you to everyone for all your comments, love, support and prayers, we are forever grateful!

I will keep you all posted on the results of her tests!

YIPEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Monday, October 15th

Meghan was down at Sick Kids on Monday with my mom and she just went for blood work and her counts were fine, so we head back down on Friday, Oct. 26th hopefully for her final round of chemo, yahoo! It's usually this week that her counts go down and Josh has been sick all weekend with Strep throat, high fever, & vomitting so I've been walking around behind him with lysol wipes to hopefully keep it away from Meghan.

Please check out the quote at the top of the page under Meghan's name, I took it from our friends blog, who's daughter is also battling cancer. I just had to have it on Meghan's blog as it's such a true quote.

ONE MORE LEFT TO GO!

We were down at Sick Kids just before 10am, hoping for our 2nd last round of chemo and Meghan's counts were great and we got the go ahead for chemo at 11am but it took til 1:40pm before they finally called us for the chemo. It took awhile for her to find a vein and than we went to pick up her meds and they gave us it in liquid so we had to wait for them to fix that so we are finally home at 3:20pm and we are thrilled that we only have ONE MORE chemo left. It was quite quiet down there today so we got a chance to talk to alot of people, we were talking to a woman I've seen several times down there and we realized Meghan and her son are the same age and they live 2 streets over from us, it's really a small world.

We hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving, we know we will as last year Meghan was in ICU and we couldn't all be together, so we definitely have a lot to be thankful for this year!
